Heidelberg’s six-color Speedmaster perfector (machine capable of printing both sides of a sheet in a single pass through the press) offers printing quality and flexibility few can match. Annual reports, booklets, art prints, posters, packaging/cartons, book jackets, menus, labels, media kits or other demanding jobs can be easily accommodated on this high-quality press that provides an almost unlimited choice in special colors and finishes.
JACK LINZY In his three dozen years as a printer, Jack has learned a few things: the importance of keeping the big picture in mind, calling on his experience every day, the value of perseverance. And, oh yes, practicing a little meteorology on the side. Like Jack, the venerable Speedmaster Perfector knows what it’s doing with big, multi-color print jobs. But as lead offset pressman, Jack has learned that big sheets of paper behave differently depending on temperature and humidity. That’s why he approaches every job with patience and skill, a commitment to Meek’s quality. And, an eye on the weather.
JOSH HANEY Sometimes, when you’ve got an experienced mentor and highly capable equipment, the best outcomes are achieved by playing a strong supporting role. That’s the approach Josh takes as second offset pressman working alongside Jack Linzy. Josh’s job is to load and operate the feeder, monitor the ink and chemicals, and be a backup to the lead pressman for quality control and problem solving. After eight years in the business, Josh knows he’s in the right industry and that, at Meek’s, he can have the satisfaction of producing quality work that meets customer needs.
